WE are waiting!

Today will be something different; something only you the reader can do. I write messages all the time but today I am turning over my pen and paper to you. To help you I have developed some questions to help inspire your responses.

Be very mindful of what you keep your mind full of. The road of this thing called life is long for many. Do not block your travel with roadblocks, pitfalls and detours that do not need to be on your road.

Change how you speak to yourself!

I have been physically drained reading comments by some of the folks I follow on social media. The negative chants and rants are depressing and draining. LEARN how to speak positive into your lives and positive will come to you. You see speaking negatively or anything other than positive only pushes many people away while the negativity can draw other negative people into your space on this earth.

Even though I am the teacher, coach and mentor; I am human and it saddens me to see so much negative chat continuously. Be mindful of your talk; get rid of your mind full of everything nonproductive and positive.

Our words become our strengths or our weaknesses!

Speak Your Truth Even When You Are Afriad To!

Speaking your truth!

Those of you who follow me know that I experienced a serious trauma a few weeks ago; it left me feeling empty like I had died inside. Just when I think I am at a point where the past is under control and I am ready for the next leg of my journy, I get knocked back down.

People who are not held accountable keep doing what they do. No matter how hard we try to get away from the ugliness, it will follow and find us. The people who has hurt the most are the ones who keep telling their versions of lies; they make sure others think we are the bad people.

Time to stand up and speak our truths. You see many of us will never be free until we speak the other side to the lies. Too many people either do not care to hear the rest of the story or they are too ignorant to know there is another side so they just stay in darkness to the truth.

Time to bring everyone into your light then soar with the eagles. it is not our job to convince anyone of the real deal. WE need to speak our truths so that our souls, hearts and spirits can be free. People will think and believe what they choose; their choices are not our concern.

Our FOCUS for today: Speak your truths, even if you are afraid to. Then spread your wings and be free

Finding Your Light(s)

Finding your light(s)

May you find the light(s) to guide you through your day and beyond even when some lights lose their shine or diminish in brightness; I pray you find another light that shines you way to your destiny brightly.  Not too many words today; just my prayer for you to find your way to a happy home.

Our FOCUS for today: Find your personal lights or be the lights for others!  There are plenty of folks lost in the darkness to go around.

The Water Bearer

My GRIND and SHINE started at 2:37am on 07/28/2016.  This was OK because I was in bed very early yesteray; I needed to prepare.

Today is all about being the water bearer.

Thank you to my family I share no DNA with for being my water bearers.

Many of you know that I experienced an extremely hurtful situation a few days ago that broke my spirit into a bliiion pieces at least.  So  after I got over my emotions my favorite quote kept popping in my head.
"EX CINERIBUS RESURGAM"  In essence "from the ashes I rise"

YES I crashed and burned and it was the kind words of love and encouragement from friends and those who I have helped in some way over the years.  Those were the people who brought me the water I needed to put out the fires that surrounded me.

I am back now and I have loads of water to help each person who reads my words; I am here to help you doust your fires too.

Our FOCUS for today:  Carry the load; be the water bearer.  Just as someone helped you doust your fires, you are charged to pay it forward and help someone else.

Knowing When To Stay Grounded!

I have been up and down all night: really do not feel like making this journey today BUT here I am doing what I do. Might as well enjoy the AC at work instead of staying home using my own ;)

They say it will be a scorcher today; one of the hottest days this year as far as the heat index. Days like today remind us that there are times we just need to stay grounded. As the old saying goes many of are are just flying all over the places trying to keep up with those that have; we try to keep up appearances too.

WE learned in school that heat tends to rise so why not stay down at ground level and find some SHADE today, Keep things simple and keep our loads light today.

Our FOCUS for today: Make sure the SHADE we are throwing today is upon ourselves!

In life many may find themselves mistaking being stuck for being still. When we are re-living our past continuously we are "stuck". When we are living in the present moment but are not moving, we are choosing to be "still" Two dilemmas both with one solution; move!

Finding Hope Again

Finding Hope again.

As many of you know yesterday I was at a loss for inspiration to do the RIPPLE effect.  I was at a place where I had lost everything including hope in everything.  Today I just want you to know that HOPE can bring you through whatever it is that you are experiencing right now.  Next week I will talk about faith but before we can find our faith we have to have enough HOPE to believe it exists.

Do you know where you are going?

Many choose to be followers in this world.  Many never think to ask if they person they are following knows where they are going?  The realization is that one needs to ask the important questions to see if the journey is one worth taking.  If your leader is going to a place that suits them only, why are you following?   If your leader has not clue where they are going why are your following?  If your leader is really just a follower making pretend, you should NOT be following them at all.

Our FOCUS for today: Make sure the people we are following are taking us to a place we need to be.

Take a Break

I can be a vacation or a stay cation, either is a must do.  Many of us keep running and running, stressing and stressing.   Time to just “STOP” take time off to regroup and rejuvenate.  I have said this before and I am sure many of you have seen this phrase in one form or another;

“you cannot pour from an empty cup”

This is the weekend; time to take a break before you break!

Many of us have convinced ourselves we that we are not worthy of happiness, love or success; we have listened to the voices in our own heads too long.   You see once we stop allowing the voices in our heads to sabotage our self-worth, we will not allow the voices of others to tear our spirits down either.   Silence the negative thoughts you have been telling yourself; silence those and you will be able to silence the voices of others.

Show Up Early; stand out!

In this ME first world I am surprised how many people want to get the best of everything but are not willing to SHOW UP and put in the work to get it.  Everything most people want they want handed to them without putting any efforts into being worthy to receive it.  How many of you have heard the term “the early bird gets the worm”?

In business they say if you show up on time you are late already and in life if you drag your feet you may miss out on wonderful opportunities for love and success or your entire destiny.

When you show up early you stand out for a host of reasons; add the fact you do not have too many distractions around.  So stop hiding in the masses; be seen.

Our FOCUS for today: Stop hiding in the back of the room in the group when you are meant to stand out and be seen.

Spring has come and gone and you are still holding on the junk from your past.  Time to play catch up and clear the clutter from your space in this world.  No matter what it is people, material items or old feelings; let them go!  You cannot have room for the happiness and other positive things if your space is fool of the junk from a time passed.  Time to clean house.

So many of us have fallen into such a deep depression that we have lost sight of the beauty in this world that is all around us. Take time to notice to small wonders and beauty today. Tomorrow is not promised so make sure you enjoy every moment of your life.

Pretty Poison

Many of us are so hungry our starvation is recognized immediately. Those looking to take advantage are everywhere.  They approach us with a smile, laughter, good conversation and words that make us want to believe.  Nothing is wrong with believing; make sure your belief is in yourself more-so than the hype you happen to be hearing. 

Many of us end up broken and alone after we have given our all to those who are self-serving.  Make sure your investments are yielding high returns in your favor.  If you are receiving little or no return, time to cut your losses and find a new broker for your dreams.  

Beware the “Pretty Poison” in this world.  It comes in beautiful wrappers with seductive words and allot of shine.  Do not be blinded by the light and lies. 

Our FOCUS for today:  See the world with your eyes open wider.   Do not allow your wants to outweigh your needs.  Greed brings grief.

Making a path for your troubles to follow

Making a path for your troubles to follow


Be very careful that you are not clearing a path for your troubles to follow you. Have you ever noticed how fire fighters cut paths so that major brush fires will follow; detours the fire so that it will not cause more destruction? In life we need to make sure we do not clear a path for the troubles in our lives to follow us; they will. The fire fighters are professionals; they know exactly how to create the perfect detours many times. In life we are not the experts at averting and avoiding certain road blocks and pit falls; we think we are clearing a path for us to run away but in reality we are clearing a path for our troubles to follow and catch up to us. Sometimes we just need to walk by faith and stand our ground; the rains will come to wash away not only our doubts and fears but to douse the raging inferno trying to consume us.


Our FOCUS for today: Face your fire, harness it then bathe in its warmth.

Today is all about completing your unfinished business. How many projects have you said you will get to later yet later never comes or has come and gone? WE cannot move forward in life and love if we are still holding on to the relationships ended. WE cannot feel comfortable in our homes when they are filled with the memories from our past. The realization is that you cannot pour from a broken or incomplete cup.

Breaking FREE!

The RIPPLE Effect for today: 06/06/2016

Breaking free from your cocoon!

Far too long many of us have been living wrapped inside our feelings, emotions, lack of confidence and self esteem. We have been wrapped so tightly that we have become used to adapting to the space that seems to be getting smaller; constricting our growth.

The circle of life requires us to GROW! The only way we will not break through our cocoons is if we make the choice not to do so or we are too ill or weak to fight our way through. Many cannot use the later as an excuse so FIGHT and PUSH. Break through then spread your beaufiful wings and FLY!

Our FOCUS for today: Give all that you have to break every chain, vicious cycle and through our cocoons. A beautiful new transformed you is waiting to soar with the eagles.
