No WE Do Not!
My 2 Cents of Cerebral for today: 06/05/2017
No we do not!
Not everything I do is on social media.
I do not inform social media of the conversations I have with everyone.
I do not air my laundry dirty or clean on social media
When I am hurting I certainly do not ask for help on social media.
I could go on but I believe many of you understand where I am coming from.
Social media with all of its great point have folks utilizing it for pointless means. Social Media allows many to become what they are inside really.
Many only care what you are doing so that they and either out do you or pray that you fall.
Some want to know who you are connected do so that they can name drop themselves into a spot in the main dining hall.
Others are waiting to see if your relationships are in turmoil so that they can step into your shoes; in some cases on a "more permanent" basis.
the ones closes to us will be the main sources reveling in your pain and dancing in your tear like a beautiful dance in the rain.
Lesson for today: Keep your friends, family, frenemies and others out of your business, personal and professional. Only the worth should be allowed in your private corners and spaces.

This is long over due!
Some folks need to grow up
Others need to wise up
Still more need to show up
Even more need to stand up
Those who choose to keep complaining and messing up
Need to have a seat and shut the hell up!
WE may not realize it but there are many watching what we say and or do. Those folks may not say anything to you personally but they have much to say when things hit the fan or after a tragedy happens.

Dear Diary 03/27/2017 It does not hurt anymore
Dear Diary: 03/27/2017
As I was driving home today noticing how beautiful it was outside, I had a moment of brilliant clarity. I realized that it does not hurt anymore. I have been lied on, called all types of names. People have attacked me based on lies and manipulations, but I realized that none of that matters anymore. Walking away was the best decision I could have made thank the good LORD for showing me the next door to walk through.
The interesting part is that I do not miss anyone. Those meant to be in my life are, and those who have used me as their excuse are not. So to those who forsake, disrespected, lied to and on and prayed not for but against me. I forgive you, and I love you, but I cannot be in your world.
To those who take the time to read this, I am not without sin and mistakes; none of us are but I never deserved the treatment I have put up with for 53 years. So today is my day to say I sleep well at night and I know where my soul will go in the end. GOD put each and every person who has brought the fire to my door in my life to bring me to this very moment. I got the help I needed, and I am not afraid to admit it.
My statement describes how freedom feels!

Lesson Learned!
This is a simple message today. You see many of us do not understand the art
of learning our lessons in life. If we
do not learn the lessons the universe sends to us, the universe will continue
to send us back to class. One must
remember everything in life happens for a reason. The events may be to teach us something or to
make us stronger to prepare for what is to come. Sometimes the lessons are to show us that it
is not about us; we need to change something else! Once we “get it” we must be mindful not to
repeat the mistakes or series of events again.
If we do, we will go back to school and be seated in the back of the
classroom.

There can be 1 only
My 2 Cents of Cerebral for 03/18/2017
I am a huge fan of sci-fi everything!
There is a series of movies where the tagline is "there can be only one." Those movies and books that deal with space-time continuum let us know that two entities cannot exist in the same space at the same time. Therefore we cannot live in the same place at the same time being both happy and sad or courageous and afraid.
We must decide which road we are willing to take; without fear. We can choose to be content in the place of beautiful lies, heartache and pain or we can choose to take the road uncharted. Only you can decided when enough is enough really. Tell you what, if you promise to keep putting one foot in front of the other, I promise to walk with you. This is not a journey for anyone to take alone. Ready, set, let's go and grow!

Know Thy Worth!
Why did a 39 year old just contact me? See now some of you would jump on that for the holidays but as for me No SIR! He is a boy trying to get a sugar mama not here keep it moving.
This is why we need to learn how to enjoy being single sometimes so that we are not jumping on the wrong journey. NEVER be so desperate you allow yourselves to be blinded by the beautiful lies and lovely lures. Some may not see anything wrong with the age difference but for me 14 years is a bit much! I love me too much to be taken for a ride with a pony!

My Final thought and REAL TALK about this USA election!
THIS Is my last post about this electoral mess. In other words my FINAL MESSAGE because once again today these messages have gotten on my last piece of nerve I have left!
I can see that I have to start blocking some folks. The more you post the hatred and negative information to more you are removing all doubt about who "YOU" are and where 'YOUR" mindset is.
INstead of being silent and developing strategies to monopolize on this travesty you keep complaining and whining!
The people have spoken for a person who had run a campaign on bigotry, sexism, hatred, racism and has a wife who has shown her P to the world, you know like the ones he claimed to have grabbed and the CHRISTIANS and GREAT Americans said it was acceptable and A-OK but none of this changes the fact they chose this person to be the next commander and chief.
I do not care about your marches in the streets because you will be back to your norms and dorms next week. (a passing and forgotten thought as always)
I do not care how many votes went to a dead monkey
I do not care how many walking dead cast ballots
I do not care how many people voted for person A when they claimed to have voted for person B.
I do not care about the name calling and mud slinging.
You get the picture! (I have taken notes of those who have gone way over the top about it though)
I do not care that the lowest uneducated common denominators and their side kicks voted for this man. (it has no relevance because some white collar educated folks did too)
What I do care about is maintaining my sanity through this.
What I do care about is praying for the safety of my children and family.
What I do care about is keeping myself healthy enough to fight a good fight because the realization is one of two things.
What I do care about is why the talk to doing away with the electoral college keeps coming and going (that season is over)
What I do care about is equality for all!
What I do care about is using this as a springboard to greater successes through advocacy and education. (YES it can be done)
The President elect and his house and senate have two choices to make good on the hatred, racism and discrimination they won this election on or to do the right thing and work with everything to continue to make America even GREATER than it was prior.
*THIS IS WHAT WE NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT*
Those who were my true friends before are still my true friends who do not mind me coming to visit and walking in through the front doors. Others will be ignored into the abyss of the forgotten.
WE must be prepared for this to go either way.

Most injuries will hurt before they heal; in life, we must give our injured spirits and souls time to recover. The damage reaches the phase where it may have a scab; stop picking at it opening the old wound. Once again the same applies to our lives. We cannot heal if we keep picking at the old wound.

Something To Think About!
Time for more REAL TALK!
Something to think about for today. Each year I read posts by folks claiming to make a change; do something different. At year end I see the same posts where the same folks talk about change in the new year. My question is what you have done this year to work toward the change you spoke of last year?
GOD made it easy for me, he had a family member do what they do best, they broke my very spirit, soul, and heart. I discovered GOD was removing all things from my life so that I could focus on the next leg of my journey; school! It is challenging, and I am tired, but I am getting it done. How about you?
2017 I need to take care of me, my goals matter too. My suggestion to many is to get your lives together. Come back from la- la land, time to get busy; get real. I will be aligning with the known movers and shakers. I will not align with folks aligned with messy, fake people. Meaning people with fake programs, products, titles and such, tired of wasting time with the individuals who have taken the easy roads to their pseudo success.
Be true to yourselves. What are you going to do for you in 2017? Do not lie because you will be lying to yourself only.
I wish you the absolute best in the New Year!

Face It Until You Fix It!
Great morning to each and every one of you!
I wanted to share something that has been in my spirit for a while. Many of you have given your time to so many others that you have neglected your personal goals and destiny. Time for you to consider putting yourselves first. It is fine to help others get to where they want or need to be, but what about you? When are you planning on setting aside time to finish what you have not completed? Remember the person you see in the mirror is just as important as those you help daily.
Do not continue to "fake it until you make it" while you are helping everybody else. I want to tell you to FACE IT UNTIL YOU FIX IT! Time to work on you!

Some Folks Just Do Not Like Tea!

Some folks just do not like TEA
The UGLY Truth of the matter is:
As with life if you are not the flavor or liking of someone do not try to force them to swallow. They will just spit you out!
Find those who will savor the flavor you will bring to their pallets. Life is too short to try to force your way into a place you do not belong.

The Power of Your Wind
The weekend is here, time for many of us to simply breathe, regroup, refresh and rejuvenate. Life is far too short to keep all of our disappointments, frustrations, hurts, pains and heartaches bottled up inside of us. Time to discover the power of our personal winds; breathe.
There is a reason why what we take in feels cooler than what we push out. The air we breathe in is charged with positive energy; the warm breath we exhale is full of the negativity we have been carrying around. Breathe in, breath out, move on!
Our FOCUS for today: Make sure every breath we take is inhaled with passion and exhaled with new purpose.

We Are Waiting

3. What advice would you give to the young and older still lost in their personal darkness?

Divine Intervention Is Knocking
The GRIND and SHINE for today: 08/22/2016 2:58am
Divine intervention (through my eyes and personal experience)
One of the things that many people wish they had more of is time. In the event things do not work out many need time to make them right. Others have such a beautiful life that they want more time to enjoy the moments. Without divine intervention none of the scenarios could happen.
I will be starting a new journey in my life next month "on my birthday" but before that I will be spending the weekend before with my sisters and friends; we will be replenishing and refreshing our hearts, minds, spirits and souls at our very first sisterhood retreat.
Some may be asking how I am tying all of this together. The answer is simple. Several weeks’ prior my world was torn apart; my soul was wounded, my heart broken and my spirit crushed. I waited patiently for GOD to show me why and what his plan was for me. Turns out he had to remove some obstacles and distractions from my life; he had to bring me to a better, stronger place.
When this leg of my journey is over, a new life will be waiting for me at the end of this road called destiny. Nothing will be the same; everything will be better. To look at the events, the ladies voted to have the retreat on my birthday weekend, then I got the call that not only was I accepted into school; they had an opening to start on my birthday! My doubts tried to hold me back but divine intervention sent an angel to whisper in my ear and as reinforcement another came along to validate the decision to not wait until next year.
Our FOCUS for today: Not to ignore what divine intervention brings us; it will bring the time we need to make the right things happen.

Change how you speak to yourself!
I have been physically drained reading comments by some of the
folks I follow on social media. The negative chants and rants are depressing
and draining. LEARN how to speak positive into your lives and positive will
come to you. You see speaking negatively or anything other than positive only
pushes many people away while the negativity can draw other negative people
into your space on this earth.
Even though I am the teacher, coach and mentor; I am human and
it saddens me to see so much negative chat continuously. Be mindful of your
talk; get rid of your mind full of everything nonproductive and positive.
Our words become our strengths or our weaknesses!
