Something to think about:

When you have been there for others even in the midst of your own storms you will learn who would do the same when you find yourself on the receiving end.

When people show their true selves, believe they are exactly who they portray to be.  All is well when they are receiving what you are giving even when you have little to give.  When they have little to give you are on your own because they chose to keep what they had for themselves.

It is OK to walk away and never look back because someone is out there waiting for you to be their new beacon who will appreciate the light you bring to their dark world.  Many will be willing to share the shine when they see your light dimming!

Dear Diary: 03/27/2017


As I was driving home today noticing how beautiful it was outside, I had a moment of brilliant clarity. I realized that it does not hurt anymore. I have been lied on, called all types of names. People have attacked me based on lies and manipulations, but I realized that none of that matters anymore. Walking away was the best decision I could have made thank the good LORD for showing me the next door to walk through.


The interesting part is that I do not miss anyone. Those meant to be in my life are, and those who have used me as their excuse are not. So to those who forsake, disrespected, lied to and on and prayed not for but against me. I forgive you, and I love you, but I cannot be in your world.


To those who take the time to read this, I am not without sin and mistakes; none of us are but I never deserved the treatment I have put up with for 53 years. So today is my day to say I sleep well at night and I know where my soul will go in the end. GOD put each and every person who has brought the fire to my door in my life to bring me to this very moment. I got the help I needed, and I am not afraid to admit it.

They say that 'hurt people; hurt people"  this only makes another wounded person.  We need to either try to understand the side of our opponent or we can only say a prayer and walk away.  Walking away may not be the likely choice, but it may be the best option.

My 2 Cents of Cerebral for today.

Many of us have become accustomed to living in the world of lies rather than dealing with inconvenient truths.  Amazing how some have answer for the problems in the lives of all around but experience oblivion in their lives.  There are many reasons people choose to live their lives with heads stuck in the sand.  Living lies becomes an easy reality to avoid doing the hard things that need to be done; it is better to settle for a life of beautiful lies instead of addressing the ugly truths.

One thing is for certain, everyone comes face to face with their truths at some point in life. Many are so used to living in that beautiful place full of lies, they tend to ignore what is right in front of them.  No matter how hard one tries either the truth will catch up or a person will work extra hard to keep eluding it day after day and year after year until time runs out.

The TRUTH may hurt but with any wound it will hurt before it HEALS! The choice is ours to live in that beautiful place full of lies, deceptions, heartache and pain or we can face the hurts and move towards HEALing.  Time for the sheeple to become people again.   WAKE up, STAND up, and STEP up.  We can do this together.

Know Thy Worth!

Why did a 39 year old just contact me? See now some of you would jump on that for the holidays but as for me No SIR! He is a boy trying to get a sugar mama not here keep it moving.
This is why we need to learn how to enjoy being single sometimes so that we are not jumping on the wrong journey. NEVER be so desperate you allow yourselves to be blinded by the beautiful lies and lovely lures. Some may not see anything wrong with the age difference but for me 14 years is a bit much! I love me too much to be taken for a ride with a pony!

 

Go Out And Be Awesome!

My words of encouragement for you today is: Find your FOCUS and stick to it. You do not have to tell anyone what your goal(s) are just know that you and the person you see in the mirror can achieve them. If you need guidance reach out someone will be there to grab your hand!

The Daily FOCUS for today: Leaving Home

Many of us continue to align ourselves with people and things within our comfort zones.  If we stay within what feels safe to us, we fail to see all that awaits on the other side of our leaps of faith.  Do not be afraid to leave home; go outside of the yard walk down the street around the corner.  You may be surprised what you find waiting for you. 

We tend to marry / work for comfort, but comfort leads to complacency, acceptance and settling.  Do what you are afraid to do; LIVE!

One of my greatest fears is killing the house sized spiders with hair that infested my home, I used to think they knew I was afraid that is why they took up residence at my place.  I had to do what I was not comfortable doing; I bought the longest broom I could find and I went on the defense!  Life is much like my spider encounter, in order to live truly we must do what frightens us the most.  Leave Home, that thing called our comfort zone.

This is the Holiday season and many cannot stand being alone during the festive seasons. This leads to many mistakes that can lead to years if not a lifetime to heartache and un-intentional or expected setbacks and road blocks. 

Better to come home safely and soundly; have the meal you enjoy then plan a night you will enjoy your way.  MAN makes us feel like we are not completed without a significant other; we need to lean how to enjoy being alone before we can appreciate having that special someone truly!  Take this season to work on your new reasons, hopes, joys, passions and more.

If you are that cold in your bed GET MORE BLANKETS or INVEST in an ELECTRIC ONE!   How about a plush onesie?

If being out among all of the happy people makes you feel depressed, remember this.  Not all that glitters is gold and not every smile is genuine.  It is OK to be a single Belle or Beau!

Just thought you should KNOW!   :)

Dirty Laundry

The Daily Focus for today: Dirty Laundry

You know worry is like dirty laundry it will not go away unless you wash it. Just like the dirty clothing, we need to wash away all of our worry, hurts and sorrows. Oh yes indeed just like the basket in the photo if you keep adding to it, the basket will break eventually.

As the old saying goes "take your burdens to the LORD and leave them there" GOD will WASH away everything that is holding you back; just believe in his GRACE and GOODNESS. Another saying goes that GOD will only put on you what you can bear. He cannot lighten your load if you do not want to let go of the weight of that dirty laundry.

It is the end of the year; prepare to clean up your mess in the New Year and keep it under control so that you will not end up burdened down until you reach your breaking point!

Listen up Ladies and Gentlemen,

If the one you love does a 180 on you and becomes a stranger in your life, stop trying to hold on to someone who wants to be free!  Follow the LEAD and MAKE A U TURN so both of you are headed in opposite directions.  Be very thankful you were strong enough to walk away before they had the chance to become part of your lifetime! The Season is over, do not obsess over the reason.
