No WE Do Not!

My 2 Cents of Cerebral for today: 06/05/2017


No we do not!


Not everything I do is on social media.
I do not inform social media of the conversations I have with everyone.
I do not air my laundry dirty or clean on social media
When I am hurting I certainly do not ask for help on social media.
I could go on but I believe many of you understand where I am coming from.


Social media with all of its great point have folks utilizing it for pointless means. Social Media allows many to become what they are inside really.


Many only care what you are doing so that they and either out do you or pray that you fall.
Some want to know who you are connected do so that they can name drop themselves into a spot in the main dining hall.
Others are waiting to see if your relationships are in turmoil so that they can step into your shoes; in some cases on a "more permanent" basis.
the ones closes to us will be the main sources reveling in your pain and dancing in your tear like a beautiful dance in the rain.


Lesson for today: Keep your friends, family, frenemies and others out of your business, personal and professional. Only the worth should be allowed in your private corners and spaces.

Sharing the Shine!

Something to think about:

When you have been there for others even in the midst of your own storms you will learn who would do the same when you find yourself on the receiving end.

When people show their true selves, believe they are exactly who they portray to be.  All is well when they are receiving what you are giving even when you have little to give.  When they have little to give you are on your own because they chose to keep what they had for themselves.

It is OK to walk away and never look back because someone is out there waiting for you to be their new beacon who will appreciate the light you bring to their dark world.  Many will be willing to share the shine when they see your light dimming!

My words of encouragement for you today is: Find your FOCUS and stick to it. You do not have to tell anyone what your goal(s) are just know that you and the person you see in the mirror can achieve them. If you need guidance reach out someone will be there to grab your hand!

Do You Know Your Value and Worth?

My 2 Cents of Cerebral for today!

I saw this quote sometime ago and thought I would re-share and elaborate.  So my question is do you know why Rolls Royce and Bentley do not have commercials like other brands?

It is because they know their worth and value so the customers gravitate towards them.  I have said this many times when asked how I get connected to folks? MY response is always they find or come to me.

This is one of the reasons why I do not go to every event I am invited to and this is why I do not broadcast every achievement or accomplishment.

Many of us spend time running behind smoke screens and pipe dreams only to discovers at some point we have been used for a show of numbers or to add wealth to the pockets of the hosts.

When we know our value we do  not have to run behind others or beg people to show up or like and support because those who know will LIKE and SUPPORT.  Just because one does not see the Bentley commercials does not mean they are not selling.

Find your niche and know your worth.

I have not done one of these in a long time!

Listen up Ladies and Gentlemen,

If the one you love does a 180 on you and becomes a stranger in your life, stop trying to hold on to someone who wants to be free!  Follow the LEAD and MAKE A U TURN so both of you are headed in opposite directions.  Be very thankful you were strong enough to walk away before they had the chance to become part of your lifetime! The Season is over, do not obsess over the reason.

If you are going to put on a show make it a great one!
If you are going to pretend you are crying, show me some tears
AND
If you can create the prop tears DO NOT turn them off when someone calls you out on your mess.
BECAUSE  at that moment you remove all doubt about the question of your authenticity.

OM gosh people stop buying into every performance you see or hear!

This does not apply to those crying in silence because our tears are on the inside where no one can see them.

Over eating and bad health habits are usually the symptoms of a greater root cause; for me it was the inability to grieve. Grief will not be ignored. (Warning this piece will require some serious cerebral thought)

What if?

You receive a letter like this?  Will you be continuing the journey or venturing out without a great ally?

I am at yet another crossroad in my life!  I realize that some people are very happy with the appetizers of life and not willing to do the work to get to the main course.  People just want the fast fame, money and even love.  I have decided to begin to distance myself; there is no reason to ask why because deep down you know already as I have said this many times before.  When our missions are no longer aligned and you have chosen to align with others who I know are on missions for their own profits and success only using you as a stepping stone; our time will be ending.

I leave you with a prayer and only well wishes but the fork in the road leads me in the opposite direction.  Be blessed, I wish you well!

Goodbye my old friend new horizons await and I am ready to explore the challenges!

What if you received this letter from the person you see in the mirror?
Many speak about change but that change never comes.  Everything has a beginning and an end.  Lets hope the bad is ended before "The End"
