My 2 Cents of Cerebral for 03/18/2017


I am a huge fan of sci-fi everything!
There is a series of movies where the tagline is "there can be only one." Those movies and books that deal with space-time continuum let us know that two entities cannot exist in the same space at the same time. Therefore we cannot live in the same place at the same time being both happy and sad or courageous and afraid.

We must decide which road we are willing to take; without fear. We can choose to be content in the place of beautiful lies, heartache and pain or we can choose to take the road uncharted. Only you can decided when enough is enough really. Tell you what, if you promise to keep putting one foot in front of the other, I promise to walk with you. This is not a journey for anyone to take alone. Ready, set, let's go and grow!

Permission Granted? Maybe Not!

You have permission

You have permission to voice your disappointments. Many people keep their hurt and pain to themselves; people will take out their frustrations on those who love them the most. With the exception of a few, many will feel worse after attacking those who are not the oppressors.

Do you ever wonder why hurt people hurt people? It is because the cycle of pain is continuing. You see bullies never choose those who they are equaled by or those they know they could be defeated by. In turn when many of us are hurt we look for the weakest link to attack; thinking this will ease our suffering or give us joy and victory.

In many case this only leaves another injured party and wounded soul. Even though we have permission to be angry, yell, scream and voice our hurt, we do not have permission to take out our frustrations on others who we are sure cannot fight against our rage.

We have permission to pour out our pain; we do not have permission to put it on to others.

Our FOCUS for today: Pour our pain out in the proper way! End the cycles of abuse and shame.

Stop rewarding bad behavior

MY GRIND AND SHINE for today: 07/29/2016 2:11am

Today is about rewarding bad behavior

I have come across many people who tend to cry about how they were treated then praise the very people who have mistreated them over and over. Several issues arise out of this type of behavior, please see the list below:

1. You give the abusers permission to keep doing what they do; they know there is no reprimand for their actions.

2. You are living a lie not only to yourself but to those who look to you for guidance and advice. Those people may let the abuser in and the cycle will start all over again.

3. It makes me question your sanity and motives. Why do you cry about the abuse then boast to the world how great the person is and how much you love them? Something is not right somewhere in the scenario.

IN business when folks wrong me they are erased, no mention, photo or thought of them is found. You see, when you become successful they will be the first ones to use the prior association to their advantage. In life I have learned how to let go to those who have wronged me over and over, time and time again. Never praise wrong doers because they are smart enough to use your own praise against you once or if you ever FIND YOUR COURAGE to walk away.

I learned how to walk away under the worst of circumstances; it was a lonely journey but a necessary one.

Our FOCUS for Today: Stop rewarding bad behavior!

The Water Bearer

My GRIND and SHINE started at 2:37am on 07/28/2016.  This was OK because I was in bed very early yesteray; I needed to prepare.

Today is all about being the water bearer.

Thank you to my family I share no DNA with for being my water bearers.

Many of you know that I experienced an extremely hurtful situation a few days ago that broke my spirit into a bliiion pieces at least.  So  after I got over my emotions my favorite quote kept popping in my head.
"EX CINERIBUS RESURGAM"  In essence "from the ashes I rise"

YES I crashed and burned and it was the kind words of love and encouragement from friends and those who I have helped in some way over the years.  Those were the people who brought me the water I needed to put out the fires that surrounded me.

I am back now and I have loads of water to help each person who reads my words; I am here to help you doust your fires too.

Our FOCUS for today:  Carry the load; be the water bearer.  Just as someone helped you doust your fires, you are charged to pay it forward and help someone else.

Today is all about getting back on track! So many of us allow events, setbacks, problems, stress and worry to side track us from our goals. HEY listen up we started our quest to make our dreams reality for a reason; remember what that reason was? Use that memory to ignite your motivation and inspiration to get back on task. I have not done one of these in a long time!

Listen up Ladies and Gentlemen,

If the one you love does a 180 on you and becomes a stranger in your life, stop trying to hold on to someone who wants to be free!  Follow the LEAD and MAKE A U TURN so both of you are headed in opposite directions.  Be very thankful you were strong enough to walk away before they had the chance to become part of your lifetime! The Season is over, do not obsess over the reason.

Many of us die mental and spiritual deaths; we become the walking dead!  Life without purpose has no meaning.  We must take all of the burdens that hold us back to the LORD and leave them there. Some battles are not our own to fight and some people are not meant to be in our lives if they are bringing us down; we need to let all of it go.  GOD gave us life to live with divine purpose NOT demon filled death!  Crawl if you must but move forward into the light then stand up and bask in the beauty of the possibilities that surround you.

Death will come soon enough so enjoy every wakening moment living your life with meaning and purpose!

If we spend our time looking backwards at what was we will miss what is and what will be!  No matter what knowledge we possess we cannot move forward in a positive way if we spend our time looking back at the negative hurts, pains and disappointments of our past!  When we look at at hurt we are not able to see the obstacles ahead of us so we continue running into the same types of issues over and over; some call this insanity, I call it a choice!

Take everyone out of the equation, every thought, every joke every negative works ever aimed at you.

YOU have to talk to the person you see in the mirror and get everything out everything you have been convinced is wrong with that person.

Once you are able to stand up to hearing the negative from yourself you will be able to stand up to it and move one when others speak it into your life!

The words of others only have power when you give it to them!  The words you speak to yourself can build or destroy you!
